Engine Cleaned up (Lots of pics)

I got the oil leak fixed in my car, and once i got that fixed i decided that my car engine looked like crud. I started researching a bit on how to wash your engine (never did it before, and didn't want to mess anything up). Went to autozone and they were running a special on this stuff :

2 for 5$. Sprayed it on, let it soak for 15 minutes and then scrubbed the hell out of it with a tooth brush/brush for dishes that i bought from the local dollar store.

I wonder where i could get that? Autozone doesn't seem to carry anything of the sort..as i already looked

ask for CD2 detailer spray, call around

I want to eventually paint the engine cover..would i have to get it powder coated?

Now i just need to paint the valve cover, but i can't be without it for more than a day because its my daily driver. And i really don't want to waste money on a new cover..so i have no idea what ill do.

you cant buy cd2 in stores anymore black magic bought them out afaik and you can only get the blackmagic brand bs that replaced it and it SUCKS you can find cd2 online amazon or ebay usually.
