Do back seats fold down?

What years/models of contours are the back seats supposed to fold down? I was out in the wrecking yard the other day and noticed in one of the contours there the back seats were folded down forwards. But my 99 SVT doesnt seem to fold forward or am I just not pulling hard enough?

they do, open the trunk and you'll see a knob up top, pull it open until you hear a pop.....if you have a factory manual theres a discription in there.

any car with the 60/40 rear seats will fold down .....

that would be all SVTs and any contours or mystiques with leather interiors. Also pre98s with cloth interior could have folding rear seats.

my 98.1 with cloth seats had 60/40 seats, it was also an SE though...

my 99 Se Sport did not have folding seats. they where cloth also.
