Didn't know the 3.0 engine we use is used in a racing class

My favorite part is the alternator is belt driven right off the axle!
 
Most racing car's are done that way it's to get the weight farther back. I'm surprised they didn't keep the cam driven water pump as that would have also moved the weight back.
