Very nice! What type of gun are you using? I'm just now getting into this, and I'm working on a rear bumper for my sister's '98 Acura CL. Didn't have the gun set correctly, and the paint came out like complete crap. Sooooo, it's BACK to sanding the entire thing down, AGAIN! :nonono: Just curious why type of gun you used, and how you positioned the bumper to paint it.

Joe the bumper looks great congrats man.

Mark put the paint gun down and slowly back away . J/K good luck with the painting.

Well i just use a Astro 1.0 tip gun nothing fancy i use to spray with a Sata...I run about 40PSI IIRC to a filter to filter out the water etc..
and then just adjust my gun accordenly its really hard to explain it online..you want your fan to be open all the way your needle adjustment set to were your trigger is open fully when pulling the trigger all the way back..

As you can see from the pictures the bumper was just laying on the stands in the pictures..Worked great

Edit: Y2KSVT this is not my first job ive got alot more behind this but also make sure your gun is clean and dont use your base/primer gun for your clear use another gun for clear..and always always clean the He!! outta your guns..I take my apart weekly and let them soak in thinner..

you wouldnt happen to be coming up to ohio and randomly bringing your paint stuff with you, would you? :)

That looks really good...great job. What do you use for the rock chip holes?

Basically sanding down the bumper and useing a Body filler AKA mud..then smooth that out and primer it up..
