Any ideas on how to get this thing to stay down? I am considering removing the windshield and screwing/glueing this bad boy down

mine was warped about 4 inches up touching the windshield. i used 2 diff types of epoxy, had a friend pull it back a bit and applied with a putty knife then rolled up a couple towels stuffed them between dash and windshield, removed towels about 12 hours later and it worked great. i think anything will look better than the ugly metal piece ford has for a fix.

That is exactly what I have. My dashboard is touching the windshield. I'll give the epoxy a shot before I take out the windshield.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Connection to the center console is a bit different, and I think the climate controls are higher/lower, so I believe a '98 to '98.5 dash is the only direct solution if you replace the dash. I've got the warp fix kit & plan to paint it to match.

It's no different. Only difference is the HVAC trim. Use the HVAC trim that goes with the center console being installed.

HVAC panel is the same for ALL years.

I just found that out this weekend when I had the dash torn apart. I was wondering why it wasn't coming off.....ohhhhhhhh there are screws under there
