Ran out of light but I got some time to use the clay bar and wax:

BTW, if you notice the SVT intake plaque on the back, the original dealer RIVETED their name into the trunk :nonono:. Holes were 5.5" apart so I thought the intake sticker would work perfect (and help the clueless know what SVT means ).
I like a stock look and have never put a sticker on one of my cars, but what do you think?

Wow! She looks amazing man.

That is one of the cleanest silver frosts I've ever seen.

edit. I also do like the engine plaque on the trunk lid. It's certainly unique and it's better then a dealers name or holes on the back!

Thanks guys, the rear plaque has really grown on me, looks like it should be there now that I'm used to it. I was stressing on what to put there (the holes were ugly and too wide to just move the stock SVT badge to the other side) when I looked at the engine and thought of it.

Its very clean and I love the interior. When I see the pics you just posted its tough because mine used to look close to that when I got it. Unfortunately its been through winter now and a lot of that is lost.
Oh well, best DD I could think of for my situation.

A dealer riveted holes in the trunk to put their name on it? That would be a deal breaker right there. I have removed dealer names from every vehicle I have bought. When I bought my wifes last truck, the dealer told me they were not going to remove the sticker of it's name. I told them either one of three things was going to happen. 1. They remove the sticker. 2. They leave the sticker on, but pay me a monthly due for being a rolling advertisement for them. 3. I leave without buying the vehicle from them. Needless to say they chose #1 as I'm sure 99.9% of dealers would given those options.

Yeah, I'm with you on that. Not a fan of the dealer stickers or plate frames and I told the dealer when I bought my '04 Cobra that if they drilled the front bumper after detailing it they'd be getting a new bumper.
This was the first time I've seen a rear name drilled into a trunk.

BTW, I know you had (have?) a fast LX so I thought you might like this one from last month:

BTW, if you haven't tried a clay bar, do it.
I got my car in Nov. so it only had the wax job from the dealer I got it from before winter and the clay really pulled stuff out of the paint. I hadn't used clay since my Cobras and I forgot how nice it works.

Not feeling that engine plate on the back at all but i guess you don't have much of a choice, car looks very nice, needs a drop though

Freaking dealers. :nonono: I suppose that was a pretty good way to clean it up, though. Agree with the drop, and also you might want to attend to the bumper sag :). Otherwise looking absolutely pristine!

Actually its not bumper sag, its dumb f * ck rear-ending hit and run uninsured D-bag. I haven't posted about it because it just angers me and I have to file a small claims suit that I will win and never collect on :nonono:.
Luckily its a VERY minor scratch by his front plate on the black lower part of the rear bumper and a misaligned bumper and driver side tip.
If you weren't an anal car guy like me or a CSVT owner you would never notice. My choice of rear shots were not random

IMO, as a DD the stock SVT suspension is not a bad set up. Especially with how few miles his car has, it wouldent be worth it yet.
Exactly, I cut 1/4 coil off a 20k set of front stock springs and that is the result. I separated my shoulder playing hockey so my Dad did it and only did 1/4 coil instead of 1/2, but it did level it a bit.
My car is really done by my plan except for springs/shocks down the road. I'll enjoy the nice ride of the SVT stuff for a while though.

Forgot to add this was about 2 hrs. after picking it up from the exhaust shop and spending a 1/2 hr. aligning the tips perfectly :nonono:.

Nice car. I sold mine some time ago and am taking a break from it. Will probably get back into the hobby in a few years when my kids get a little older. In the mean time I am living vicariously through two buddies helping them with their cars.

This one has a BBC with two kits on it and races in TT5. He has gone a gest of 7.82 @ 18X mph.

The other has a 377 with a 88mm turbo and has gone a best of 8.37 @ 165 mph on TT5's.
