Cougar Brake Lights

Ok so i bought a 1999 Cougar for the old lady. One problem that was brought to my attention was that the brake lights do not work. I have checked the bulbs and i had replaced the brake light switch. I have tested all the fuses since i do not have a owners manuel and they all seem to be fine. I also tested the brake light switch and it has power but when i test back at the lights there is nothing. The turn signals reverse lights and tail lights all work. I am stuck. Thanks for always helpin guys.
 
sounds like you need to start tracing wires looking for a bad spot.

head over to neco and see if they have a solution.
 
Ya that is what i dont want to do but think i have to. I am not too familiar with the site but i did search thru there 17 pages of problems and came up with nothing i havent tried. I also searched google for hours.
