The Contour name and drag strip being used in the same sentence never seems to go together to me. I know we have lots of members that take their tours to the strip, but to me the Contour nameplate was never meant to go down the strip, until now.

My oldest starts his rookie year in drag racing this year in the junior league and will be flying the CEG name!

It should be an interesting summer for us!

Please note, other than my paycheck, Castrol is in no way providing any product or financial sponsorship/support for the car. Some good friends in one of our offices provided the decals because they know the boys are racing and Castrol fans.

Very nice! Keep us apprised of your son's exploits at the strip. BTW, that's a cool trailer.

So we FINALLY made it to the track today! He passed his licensing tests with no problems (other than a couple passes that were to fast for his age bracket). He did pretty well, got a .388 R/T his second time at the tree, which I know isn't great but I didn't think was too bad for a 9 yr old.
