I made a thread on NEWCougar.org in my local section about this get-together, and I wanted to send the invite to you as well. I would really enjoy having my friends over for the day this Sunday (and I know its short notice), so that my sprirts my be lifted a bit higher by having my NECEG and Mass/Conn extended family come on over and hang out for the day.

Please read the post, and if there is any questions, feel free to PM me. :)

Some of you are aware, but others might not be, that I lost a dear friend of mine this past Sunday morning, and I am having a rough time dealing with it.
Hence the reason for trying to get everyone out to enjoy one-another's company for a day. :)

Let me know if you can make it, and if you are registered on www.newcougar.org, please log in, and vote in the Food Poll. Thank you!

Greg

Greg, I am so sorry to hear about you losing such a close friend. I know that has got to really hurt. I just wanted to let you know that my thoughts are with you. You can be sure that I'll be there.

I'll be in Worcester on Sunday eve, and will stop by in the afternoon.

Trolling right now though, I killed the SVT's battery by forgetting to drive it :o
(will be charging it this weekend)

did I mention that you should disconnect the battery or run the car every two weeks to prevent that from happening

:)

I have been good about running it every 2-3 weeks. But this last month we had all that ice on the driveway so I literally couldn't take the car out. It finally cleared with that 50° rainy day and I realized the last day I drove it was Jan 21.
I fully deserve a :troutslap: for not disconnecting the battery though.

 yeah I almost did that with the battery in my SVT between thanksgiving and christmas ... it got awful low ....

I would highly recommend this battery charger it has worked great for me

before you buy a new battery, unless its relly old lets try charging it, bring it with you and I'll bring the charger, as long as it isn't to dead it should charge fine

lol ... didn't mean to hijack this topic, sorry Greg :p

anyway .. I am charging it, that's half the purpose of going to Worcester, my parents have one :)
thanks though

how often yee forget about asking Mike and I for help... :p

We can't make it to the meet on Sunday, sorry Greg.

I'll be in southern CT saturday night so it may be tough for me to get up there but I'd like to show up and either way, I hope you start feeling better greg!

I'll be there for sure. Debbie is still not too excited about the whole hanging out thing. Nothing personal it's just her. Oh and I think pizzas would probably be the easiest thing for eats. Not too keen on cooking burgers and stuff if it's real cold out.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. :)

Today was the funeral and it was a rough day trying to sort out everything in my head. But I pulled through! I'm gonna miss him terribly, but I know he'll be watching over my shoulder making sure I'm doing OK. :)

See you guys Sunday, and yes, pizza does seem easier.
Sunday is supposed to be at least 40-45 degrees, and Sunny, so hopefully it will be a good day.

I still don't know what we could do, but it would be nice to get some photos of our cars together for once. I seem to miss all the major meets...

You will get that feeling often during the next few months, and it is definitely comforting.

I may head down to Worcester on Saturday so I can be there bright and early and get to meet some more NECOers. Maybe. :D I really need to stop showing up to your place at the tail end of meets.

Damn Matt you love driving!
