codes 1401 and 500 after a fresh install

• full 3l
• w/o egr
• final drive swap
• no tune

1401 is dpfe sensor circuit high
1409 is vaccum regulator solenoid circuit malfunction
also have 0500 which is speed sensor

car has problably ran thru 10 gal of gas in 25 miles and i haven't found a leak yet in the fuel system

car wont idle for very long either. I hear nor see any vacuum leaks

Well first of all...the car will barely run without a tune...because you eliminated the egr and the secondaries. So it's def reading a lean condition at idle which causes the pcm to go into limp mode umping tons of fuel into the engine...making sure it doesn't blow up.

So Call joey and order a tune...then tackle some of the other problems.

If you are using the 3L injectors without a tune that's also going to be part of the problem. You definitely need a tune before you drive the car.
