Clutch pedal is very "springy"...

My pedal is feeling odd today... Very "springy" and it's not engaging until the VERY top of the pedal... No slipping or anything though. It started half way on my drive to work...

Any thoughts? I am going to go check the fluid to make sure that's not the issue, just haven't yet as I needed to run into a meeting right when I got to work.

My brake fluid is VERY grey too... maybe that has to do with the problem. There seems to be plenty of fluid though.
