well ive been in the process of creating clear reflectors for a couple of reasons.

one: they arent orange
two: makes hightowers look complete.

some of the pictures are alittle blurry and i know it has air bubbles and defects. it was one of the first used to get the technique down.

Why wouldn't it? You've never seen a clear reflector before?
Just because he made a clear, textured lens does not automatically mean it will reflect light. I'd like to see a pic taken head-on with the flash. If it reflects, I'll probably buy. If it doesn't, I probably won't. Also anxious to see a pic of it installed.

Hmmm, I might figure you used the original to make a mold and used some casting resin? Everything available at places like www.tapplastics.com . As I remember, a vibration table is good to get the air bubbles out? Anyway, regardless of your secret, I'll leave it to you to make and I'll just buy from you (assumming they reflect). The clear reflectors will go perfect with what I am planning for my headlights, so HURRY! (maybe in smoke instead of clear?)

Of course, I suspect there are vehicle codes that specify acceptable side reflector color (meaning the color it reflects) ...

small air bubbles arent going to affect the over all product. i might give smoked a try if i can find a black dye to insert into the resin. hit me up in pm's about the process. im still working on a few kinks. then try using a black dye to a smoke.
