Cleaner for old headlights?

Does anyone know if theres a cleaning solution for old headlights to clear them up? Mine look like this: :nonono:

not exactly a cross post as the pics and video thread should be for discussion about pictures of the car and this is partly the appropriate forum to discuss something like this.

The best thing to do is treat them like you are finishing off a nice paint job.

For example: Use a 800 grit WET sand paper with and electric sander (be extremely careful not to get the lens hot and tape off your fenders). Next use a 1500 grit. Then a 2000 or so and finally a 3000 grit (all of these wet). Then finish it off with some rubbing compounds. I know that they make some kits out there and somewhere on the net there are instructions. I watched a professional do this once and it was pretty impressive. Unfortunately once they are really yellow there is only so much you can do.
 
Or Bon-Ami, which works very very well on clearing up HLs and can be bought for extremely cheap, again you would have to seal them afterward or the haze will be back soon after.
