I'm a silly head. All I needed was another prodject. I've wanted a Merkur for a long time now. Here is a very rough 80k old xr4ti. It might run with a kittle work. Maybe. I'm not going to focus on this car too much right now. I'll get it going and autocross and rallycross it for now. I need to finish my contour first.

Unfortunately I won't be getting any tasty European body pieces. It will be caged soon however.

B3nn3tt has one too. An LSD came up on ebay uk a while ago .. might be worth giving an occasional look over. p.s. 4x4 contour .. props... G.
 
I thought over the rear suspension and decided that I don't like it. I was thinking of using a completly different set up. It would only be a little more to use a different rear diff with an LSD in it and make my own custom rear suspension. But first I'm just going to get the car running.
 
My brother had one from 1985.....He gave it to me in 1996.....He had an intercooler installed, adjustable struts. lowered all the way around, and other stuff I can't think of right now....He had alot of this stuff done at Rapidio when they were in Orange County CA.....I think they're up in Oregon or Washington now.....Another industry that left California...Landed up selling it and got only 1,200 for it about nine years ago....Have fun and enjoy.....Fun cars......This one had heated seats on it.........
