Does anyone have connections to get aftermarket exhausts for our cars at a good rpice? I know TruBendz is one of the cheapest sources out there but I don't want to pay $600+ for a stainless steel setup....not to mention, I would prefer it to be bolt-on type.

Why not just go with a Magnaflow resonator or equivalent and then get some new tips if you want. You could do that installed for probably < $250. It's been well discussed that other than the y-pipe and res, the SVT exhaust is already pretty good.

I believe he's looking to supercharge his SVT, where the 2.25" exhaust should really be replaced at that point.

Bullion, do you have any buddies that can weld? You might look into piecing your own exhaust together, as you could potentially save yourself quite a bit of money.

I am debating on supercharging my car, but that may be a distant project due to my desire to buy a house in the near future. If I were to S/C my car, what diameter piping should I be using instead of the stock 2.25"?

I would love to have a true dual exhaust but that is probably more work than I want to put into the project.

As for modifying the stock exhaust, I have considered replacing the stock resonator and mufflers with the respective Magnaflow parts, but I don't have a welder. However, I have always wanted to learn how to weld so now may be the perfect time. The question is, what kind of welder would I need to accomplish such a project (I don't want to spend a ton of cash on a mig welder)? I saw this welder on the Sears website, but I really don't know much about welders:

I don't mind trying to get a group buy setup within the next couple months for an aftermarket exhaust system. What manufacturer(s) would you like me to target?

(by the way, I will have limited access to internet over the next week, so don't worry if I don't reply right away)
