I have had a reoccuring problem with the abs and e-brakelight staying on or coming on as i am driving. I have a 99 csvt. If I turn the car off, the lights go out. It may be a day or two before they come back on. I read in the manual to see what was up, but it just says get to a dealer immediately. Any Ideas???

Thanks in advance.

check the easy things first, make sure plenty of brake fluid in reservoir, also check and make sure you do not have a cv boot leaking grease, that will affect the sensor reading out at the wheel. with that said check all four wheels and make sure there is nothing that may be coming in contact at the sensors at either of the four wheels. those are the easy things. most likely you will need to get the codes checked and go from there.

Does your air still blow? There is a fuse in the engine bay fuse box that controls ABS/Heater Blower and it is 60A. IF that is blown, the light will come on and the blower will not blow... If your air works, then like the previous guy said, check fluid levels and such.

Psst... blown fuses don't "go away" after you shut the car off, then return a few days later.

Check your fluid levels, and your ABS sensor wiring at the wheel itself.
