Boston Acoustics Amps

I'm looking to start getting back into car stereo's and I have a friend selling a Boston Acoustic GT-24 for 125.00 (he is one of those who gets tired of his toys). Just wondering what kind on deal is this. From what I read they seem to be decent amps.
 
IIRC that is an expensive amp. (Like $300 expensive). So I'd say your getting a deal. I dont know much about BA car audio. But I know their home-audio equipment is some pretty good stuff.
 
It's a very nice amp. Not sure of the exact ratings on it, but i know people have said it is a bit underrated much like Kicker amps are. I say buy it.
 
If it fulfills your requirements (power, # of channels, sound processing features, etc.) then I'd buy it if it is in good shape. $125 sounds like a heck of a deal to me.

I'm running a set of BA Pro 6.53 comonents and I can vouch that the BA car audio gear is great stuff. Everything is designed and engineered in house. Also, their customer service is about as good as it gets in the industry. Just a great company all around in my opinion.

Yah I'm thinken it would be perfect to run a sub, and its looks to be in mint condition. This friend is also thinken on selling a ba gt 42, but he hasn't made up his mind yet. If I can get a good deal on that one as well it could be a good start to what could be a very nice system.
 
well I'm getting a second ba amp. My friend wanted 200 dollars for a gt-42, and couldn't pass it up. I'll post pictures later of the condition (mint I might add) so for a total of 325 I have recieve some very nice high quality amps. So I'm starting my search for a headunit(thinken alpine 9886) a single 10 or 12in sub and some speakers. I think my over all goal is SQ system

Fairly classy, highly functional, and understated to a degree. Nice!..Let us know how they perform.

Although this website doesn't have internal pictures of your exact model of BA amps they do have several other internal BA amp pictures as well as a boat load of other amps.
