I've seen as big as 16" disc brake packages with ALUMINUM adapter brackets so is billet aluminum 6000 or 7000 series ok for this pretty demanding task?

Is steel the way to go?

I just want 13" 2 or 4 piston brakes on my car but am wondering if aluminum is ok.

does anyone know what material is used for the caliper adapter brackets?

I'm trying to figure if I should use steal or quality, beefy 7075-T651 aluminum will work. . .

Both steel and aluminum have been used. My front Baer kit uses an offset CNC'd aluminum bracket and my rear kit uses steel. Both are fine.
