It had to be done. I hated the half ass layout of everything and decided to insulate, plywood, organize, hang a heater, and put new lights up and a few other doo-dads.

I modified drop celing lights so that I could flush mount them between the truss'. Got 11 of them off of craigs list for $5 each will all the bulbs but about 1/4 of them are burned out. The cord reels are from ebay I got for $25 for both. The cabinets are solid maple that were stained horribly. I sanded them down and got all the uppers shown for $100. I am very happy with the final look for the money spent.

I will paint it white inside in a couple years just to have that "fresh" feeling again and I am sure the garage will need to be cleaned at that time too. There is now storage up in the attic of the garage that I wasn't utilizing before really.

dtour helped a lot and I have to thank him for the motivation and help. There were many nights that we were up past midnight during the work week to get this done.
I picked working on the garage and spending the $ there instead of the house because the garage makes me money. Powder coating, auto repairs, woodworking, etc - the house stuff will be done soon :D.

Looks good! It looks like you will have a lot more usable space. Plus the heater will be nice when it's cold again.

Very nice! I didn't even think about particleboard to finish off a garage, rather than drywall. I've been begging my dad to insulate their garage for years now.

Looks awesome, but I have a feeling that bike hanging i going to get in the way.
Nice job!

(edit) ok, not get in the way, just be more annoying than anything.

7/16" OSB was $5.46 each at menards. The nice thing about using drywall though is that it is white already and flame resistant, which is ideal for a garage if you're welding/grinding.

I went with the OSB because I like to hang stuff all over the place but I seem to be finding the studs and mounting stuff on them anyway liike I should be .

So, uh, are you gonna use that stove?
Yes, soon. I just have to get my '95 buttoned up for SZ and then the wiring on the big oven begins :D.

WTF Joe no beer neons? stripper pole?
One pool table "Coors Light" light above the work bench, the pole is in the house in front of the tv .

The handle bars of the bike are at 6'. It is kinda in the path but where else do I put it? 10' celings are awesome BTW.

The heater will be really nice for next winter because I will be working on my SVT 3L project then. I can't wait to fire it up!

just do it  hey the sil fro CSVT has about as much stuff on it as my 66 mustang does:blackeye:

Looks great except for the bike. My head hurts just looking at where it is.

Looks great Joe. I know they sell wall mounts for mountain bikes, might be worth looking into? Could mount the bike high up on the wall on the left side or something? Just an idea.

I want a 2 car garage.
