Hey all,
I had posted earlier this week, this is the second time in 2 weeks someone has tried to steal my tour, this time they tried ripping the whole front bumper cover off and in turn tented all my fenders up (hard to see in pics), and cracking my bumper all to hell. It's in the shop now awaiting the insurance to come through, man, I gotta move. Here are some pics.

A few years ago my friends integra type r was stolen. They tried a few times before they finally got it. When the car was found a few months later there was absolutely nothing left to it except the bare shell.

I would hide it away for awhile. If you live in an apartment complex, let the managment now right away. In some places you can get out of your lease to move a better place without paying. If they balk at it, get the police involved as some PD's can help negotiating with the property owners.

Good luck with the repairs, possible move and keeping your car

buy a car cover and park a couple blocks away from where you are currently. Other then that, do as others have said and try moving.

they obv wanted the front bumper more than the car, otherwise they would've just stolen the car. i thought canadians were peaceful:shrug: lol, where in canada are you? i'd consider moving to the US. contours arent really wanted here:laugh:

From the damage in the pic's its suggest that someone has a CSVT or SE and looking to get your parts to replace or upgrade theirs. If they really wanted the whole car all they needed to do was use a old sparkplug housing and crack a window.

Yup

Hey,
Thanks everyone, she's in the shop as we speak, she's also having a Mirko molded on at the same time, probably have it back in a week or so. For the mean time they gave me one of those 2008 Jetta City Editions. Nice little car, but no CSVT, and auto!

I'll post some pics when I get'er back. Cheers. Oh ya, us Canadian are usually peaceful, I really think some dick just has an SE or something and is looking to upgrade his tour to look like the SVT. In the process of moving, now!

Cheers,
Keith

You need to get a security system... probably with prox. sensor. They would of at least set off a shock sensor.... Maybe they were smart enough to realize that they can't hot wire these cars b/c of the PATS...

Hide in the trunk with a shotgun and leave the doors unlocked. set the rear seat to fold down flat. As soon as someone gets in BAM!

Yeah, but then you gotta clean all the blood out of the interior fabric.... soo much work... just rig up a seat with a tazer gun, replace it with your drivers seat.... let the stupid asses sit in your car, knocked out, call the po po..... oh look... I found this guy trying to steal my car.....

Dang. Hope she gets back tip top. After moving, may want to invest into an alarm system down the road.

I'd invest in this system..... Guaranteed to protect your car with friendly messages like, "I'll be back", and "Asta la vista baby" No longer will you have to deal with messy clean ups, the new T-1000 has a built in proximity sensor and keeps all enemies at bay, with a built in reactor it never needs it's battery changed!
