Are the 98/98.5 glove boxes different than the 99/00 jobbers?

I'm prepping my warp free dash from a 98.5 to go into my 2000 and I'm probably being lazy not doing the work to just check myself but they are in 2 different spots etc... and this week is going to be really hectic so no chance to go check till probably next weekend. I know that the one in the 98.5 has a gear that slows it down which I really like, problem is, the glovebox in the 98.5 is shot and I was going to swap the one from my 2000 in. Can anyone tell me if its possible to just swap the covers or are they a different shape? I know the pass.airbag is different and I already have the correct one for that.

Sorry for the super noob question. I searched but didn't get much. Probably due to the forum upgrade or ••••ty search-fu.

as for the glove box I think you answered it yourself. they are different.

Figures. Well the one on there is workable, assuming the latches swap... If not then I dunno. Are the latches different too?
