Anybody replace/upgrade tips on stock mufflers?

I couldn't find any useful info when searching so figured I'd pose this query to you folks. Been thinking about putting a Magnaflow resonator in place of the stock one and while looking at their stuff I checked their exhaust tips out and some look kinda nice. Anyway, I'm not concerned about all-out performance with my CSVT so just looking for a nice aesthetic (and possibly sonic) upgrade over the tiny stock exhaust tips.

So, just wondering if anybody has done this before. I'm assuming it would be a weld-on affair, but not sure if it's feasable. Any info would be great.

It probably isn't too hard to weld in some new tips. I opted to get the magnaflow straight cuts on mine. They are not that much bigger than stock, but I like the way they look, not too flashy.
