Well :nonono:........I tried the fog light mod earlier today (seemed easy enough)
fast forward to the problem....I cut the orange wire like I'm suppose to and soldered it to the black and orange...... didn't work  If i left it like that my lows would stay on even without turning the switch. :help: Was there any wire changes on the EO's or why is there so many people having trouble with this mod?? Anyone want to guide me through so I can do this mod??

Thanks...

I had the same kind of problem with my e0 and i finally just said f it and put it back to normal. its not worth it IMO

sounds like you connected to the wrong wire and power was feed back into the low beams .... you need to take the end that come out of the fog lamp relay and connect to the constant +12v wire.

How-To:

There are four wires on the relay:
A. Orange/Black - ALWAYS +12 volts
B. Orange/Yellow - +12 when fog lights are ON
C. Black/Red - GROUND when fog light switch is turned on
D. Orange - +12 when headlights are ON

4. What we want to do is to fool the relay into thinking that the
headlights are on, thus allowing the use of the fogs. Cut the
ORANGE wire (leaving about 3 inches sticking out of the
relay). Insulate the end of the ORANGE wire leading to the
switch. It is no longer needed.

5. Splice the end of the ORANGE coming out of the relay into the
ORANGE/BLACK (either with a 3M splice connector, or strip a
little insulation away, wrap the wires, and solder).

6. Insulate your splice well, and TEST THE FOGS!! The first time
I did this, I didn't test, put everything back, then had to rip it
apart again. TEST THEM!! If they work, put the relay back up
there, and replace the panel under the dash.

That should help you out

yup......pretty sure i mean it has a clip at the top u push it in and slide the connector and relay out right.......?

Also did that, and the orange with black is always receiving 12v....... its just wierd how my lows stay on if I have it that way........

here are the pics......you can see i cut the all orange wire.....tried connecting it with the orange and black and my lows stayed on.....
