Unorthodox Racing aluminum flywheel
I had it on my car for about two years.
I'm going with a new flywheel with my turbo build, so I no longer need this one.
Used, but in great shape! Car was not daily driven.
Will fit 98 and newer Contours, and also certain year Cougars.

Here's more info:

"Unorthodox Racing’s Ultra Light flywheels have some key advantages over stock and other aftermarket units. These flywheels use a specially treated steel friction insert (heat shield) for the contact surface. This surface is much stronger than stock."

It sells for over $600 new, but I got a deal on mine since I bought a clutch kit at the same time. I'm asking $400 shipped since it's still in fantastic shape. Price is negotiable.

I accept PayPal.

The flywheel will be shipped out from Chicopee, MA. If you live close enough, PM me for local pickup.

I'd say about 7 to 8 pounds. I've never had it on a scale, but the weight difference from stock is unbelievably noticeable. Very light.

Price is definitely negotiable. It's just hanging out in the garage right now :).

I am not 100% sure, but this flywheel might actually work on pre 98 Contours. I have to do some research, but I think I remember CEG users ordering SVT clutch kits for their SE Contours. Which leads me to believe that the flywheel design did not alter over the massive 98 change. Don't quote me on that though.

Also, price lowered! Asking $300 obo.

Price drop to $250 or best offer. Really hoping to sell this before my turbo build is done. Will trade for iPhone 4S.
