Alpine SWR-1242D Recone Kit?

So I have 3 Alpine type R 12's from work that have blown voice coils. I've been trying to find recone kits so I can make them new again, but haven't been having any luck finding any. I tried contacting PAC which does parts for Alpine of America, but they haven't got back to me and they said they'd call me, and that was last week... so I may have to try them again... maybe they lost my number. Anyways, anyone know of anywhere to get recone kits for said woofer?

E-mail sent, lets see what we get. I'd really like to recone these so I can reuse them... or worst case senario, buy some type R's and return the blown ones to get them replaced under warranty, and waa laa... 4 new subs... I'd have 6 but the 1 I ripped apart already to recone... so there's no way they'd believe that was toasted.... I'd be physical damage and they'd say no to a replacement.
 
doesn't it cost like $100 to recone subs? type r's are like $100 new :shrug:

Type R's are 229.99 for the 12". A company I e-mailed did get back to me, the guy said $68 to recone a type R plus shipping to them. Waiting to get more details.
 
Or I could be a real @ss and buy some at a major retailer, claim they blew up, swap them, exchange them for new ones, and bam... 4 subs for the price of 2, then have the last one reconed...
