here are the instructions I used when swapping out my steering wheel
Ok:
Tools required:
-T25 torx screwdriver (needs to be a screwdriver, not a socket set)
-15mm socket
-3/8 drive ratchet with about a 4-6" extension
-T10 torx screwdriver if you want to swap over your cruise buttons since this wheel has Cougar cruise buttons on it
In this order:
-Disconnect negative terminal from your battery and wait 1 minute
-Put your key in the ignition and turn it to on so you can rotate the wheel freely without it locking
-Adjust the steering column to full up
-Turn the wheel 90 degrees to the left (so the right side is up top) and look at the back of the wheel behind the right cruise buttons, there will be 3 holes
-The center hole is one of the two T25 screws that hold the airbag on so loosen it up, the screw will not pull out of the back, they stay with the wheel (the one I sent has the screws too).
-Do the same thing with the left side and support the airbag as it comes full loose.
-Reach behind the airbag and unclip the connector, it comes out very easy
-Center the wheel and disconnect the cruise control button plug (the only other plug)
-Put the 15mm socket on the extension and the ratchet, grab the wheel with one hand to hold it still, remove the bolt and the wheel will pull right off the column.
-Now is when you'd swap over the cruise control buttons if you want, it is 4 torx screws and pretty self explanatory. Just don't try to pull the cruise harness plug out of the peg in the sterring wheel, it actually slides out (push it to the left).
-Swap the black plastic blinker striker from your old wheel to the new one (you'll see what I'm talking about, its on the back of the wheel). You remove it by pinching in the two retaining stubs on the frontside of the wheel (exactly opposite of where it is).
