What are the benifts of using a pro-m maf housing? and where could i pick one up at? How much power is added? and do you swap your exsisting maf snesors in to the larger diamter polished housing?

I have a pro m and I noticed maybe a hp on the good old butt dyno, lol No I like the way it looks under the hood and I am sure there is a gain but it wouldnt be much. I got mine already calibrated from Warmonger.

I have one and i love it. Like i have stated on many occasions it has shown me promising gains. i must say 3-4hp for sure on the butt dyno.

At times i take it off and install the stock maf and drive around. Sure enough after about 1 week. I put the pro-m back on and notice a difference.
I love the top end pull. It just keeps me reminded of how lucky i was to get a good maf calibrated for my car.

Does optimizing your tb, produce any gain as far as the way the car moves? What about if you optimized your maf? Well, thats what my proflow maf tube is, it doesnt have the bar that goes from top to bottom, its bigger, and it does add a little somthing something, and I can feel it!

3-4hp is noise on most chassis dynos...you have a very sensitive arse.

Quite noobie, Keep posting garbage to get your post count up lmao.

It is. 3-4hp is accurate. Tests soon will prove this. Since everyone is such a non believer. Yet nobody has ever shown any graphs with pro-m losing power.
We do have graphs that show we did gain power.Dyno tests on cta motorsports showed gains with the 73mm mass air meter.

It was kinda the argument back in the day that everyone believed that WR headers were crap.

Then stazi made a comment about them. Ever since then everybody changed there minds and started buying them. Solely on his experience.

So show me tests that show you don't gain any power??

Yeah, I notice a difference when I drop my stock maf into my pro-m housing.

You will but remember you will be running very lean. So its important to check your air fuel ratio so you don't cause detonation and create a hole at the top of your piston.

easy there harry,i've been here since early 02'. getting my post count up means next to nothing to me:rolleyes:
3hp is within the margain of error on a dyno...well known fact..atleast i thought it was;)
that anyone needs to explain anything to you,but i happened to be talking to kyle on aim when i posted that comment.

He had to change his screen name, and he does have alot of knowledge, and he was being a smartass with the bullshizzle comment while we were actually discussing the same thing online!

what's funny harry,is i found some posts since 05 on the old forum were your trying to defend the larger maf, even after mark dyno'd his car w/and without the pro-m 190w/it...196w/the stock one

it was actually like 96svt1nbe or something silly at first:shrug:
but thats really niether here nor there. the point is,unless you prove that is makes power its always going to be doubted. as the maf isnt the restriction in the intake tract. a unoptimized tb is...according to demon.
