Nope - you can leave all the coolant lines in place.
Jack the front of the car up.
Remove serpentine belt.
There is 1 electrical connector on the AC compressor that will be easier to un-clip when the compressor is unmounted from the engine. The only problem is that the wire is very short, so don't try to yank the compressor out before just spinning it around a little to give you better access to the clip.
From under the car you will see 3-10mm bolts holding the AC compressor to the engine.
From the top looking between the radiator fans and the engine you will see 1-10mm bolt holding the AC lines to the AC compressor.
Remove the top 10mm bolt using a 1' extension to reach the bolt which will release the lines from the compressor. EVAC THE AC SYSTEM FIRST BECAUSE THIS CONNECTION POINT WILL RELEASE ALL FREON INTO THE AIR.
Remove the 3-10mm bolts that hold the compressor to the engine. You might need a ratcheting box wrench for one of these bolts (top side I think). The bolts are pretty long and akward to get to, so don't get frustrated.
Wiggle the compressor out and don't tip it upsidedown while your face is under it. There is a oily fluid in there to keep things lubed and it will dump on you.
