I checked my fuse box in the engine compartment today and the fuse that controls the ABS and heater blower for my 98 CSVT is an 80 and the owners manual states its should be 60.It is fuse #3 in the box.The manual also says that this along with fuses 1 and 2 should be removed by a qualified technician.
Has anyone removed one of these themselves?
My ABS light is on on the dash also.I know most likely it maybe a sensor but would the wrong fuse cause that ABS light to come on?

The wrong fuse most definately would not make the abs light come on. It is probly one of the abs wheel sensors. Have you locked up your brakes recently to a skid or applied the brakes with the car off of the ground while the wheels were spinning? I know those two things can cause the light to come on.

The 80 was probably rigged to fit in there. I have a problem in the winter, with snow on the ground, with that fuse blowing. The previous owner probably had a similar problem and just decided to go with the bigger fuse (mistake). The reason they say it should be replace by a qualified tech is that it is a PITA to replace those fuses.
