Hard-core CEG'er
I'd had an image of making a little movie like this for a while and this weekend was perfect for it. This is the first time I've tried producing anything of this level so be nice.

nice, we have a decent sized ford probe meet out there every summer.
Hey I see you're right next door to me in Hilliard. I'll try to keep an eye out for your Cougar. Vid was pretty much if not entirely 555. LOTS of equally awesome roads down there though.I'll have to check out the video once I'm off the work computer, but where was this shot? 664? I grew up on Lake Logan, and still go back frequently to visit my parents. Beautiful area, and some nice curvy roads.![]()
YES! Mission accomplished lol...Awesome video! What kinds of cameras were you using?
Thanks, me too! Between the swirling leaves and the popping and spitting of the exhaust afterfire every time I lifted off or downshifted, the rear facing angle I think was my favorite.Very Cool! I like the shots of the leaves being kicked up behind the car![]()
YES! Mission accomplished lol...
Entire vid, including the stills, was shot with a single GoPro HD.
Yeah I got tired of editing pretty quickly so I wrapped it up kind of abruptly to prevent the downward spiral of laziness...Ive found some pretty cool ways to use my GoProEditing for this movie must have been a pain! Very cool video.
You should extend the arm so you can suction cup it onto the rear bumper or trunk so you can see the exhaust and the road its pretty cool. You can also get some good exhaust notes from there.
Flat adhesive mount at the bottom of the plastic panel under the steering column, camera clipped directly into it hanging upside-down recording in UPd mode. Those stickies are pretty strong, but I didnt think that strong. How did you rig it under the dash?
Thanks! I knew very well the music would be polarizing but I made it more for my personal enjoyment than mass appeal. I'm keeping the project file; it can always be re-soundtracked.Love the vid! That music is not my cup of tea though. Other than that, great job.
Nope...actually, it's high because it WASN'T suctioned to the sunroof (see post #12 for why I couldn't suction anything...). Go to my youtube channel and watch my wet vs. dry Mid-Ohio vid to see how low you can get the cam by suctioning to the sunroof and hanging all the way down; it's a perfect view out the windshield. The overhead interior shot was stickied to the sunroof motor cover with no extensions because I didn't have any. It should have been much better.good thing i just looked at this. i plan to buy a gopro HD hero cam for snowmobiling this winter. i like the shots except the in-car one is a little high. i assume thats because you had it suction'd to the sunroof glass
Loved the video. Extra credit for using a song I like, too! Bite to break skin!
