So my water pump replacement was nearly flawless! I don't know what I would do with myself if I didn't join these forums and meet all you great people! And to think what kind of mess I would be in if I didn't know Greg (aircougar). What a big help he was fixing it for me . The only thing that seems to have gone awry is now my idler pulley (I'm pretty sure) is squealing. Bad bearings...So that will probably need replacing. But I also had a fun adventure on my drive home: I was just kinda cruising as I got off the highway, but it felt like cruise control was on. Wtf. So I pulled into a parking lot and parked the car, and the RPMs FLEW through the roof! I nearly crapped a brick and quickly shut off my car! Pop the hood, not knowing wtf I was gonna have to do...but then I took a quick glance and noticed my throttle cable got lodged out of place somehow and got stuck, LOL. Oh, and one of the engine mount bolts just ripped out when he was tightening it back up. But that's ok, this is ALSO fixed . Thanks again to all of you!

Must be a trend. Ever since I handed over the GL, Amanda has had nothing but problems. :blackeye:

Yeah, honestly...But I haven't really had anything out of the norm except for that heater hose. That isn't too common. But one thing that will be common is more visits to Greg than my mechanic, lol. Although, my mechanic does have one distinct advantage over Greg in that he is located less than 1/8 of a mile from my house :laugh:. And I trust him to death! Greg move to EL? Maybe? I can make you rich off my car!
