Had one of my bodies and a couple of lenses to shoot an event for my daughter, so I busted out the first real shots of my car. The sun was setting over Livonia, MI in the early shots. Silver Frost 98.5.

Bet you haven't seen too many of these engine badges around!
Gotta get it on when the temps get back over 60F.

70-200 2.8 I'm assuming? Those things are tanks! What lens was the last one? (17mm)

I just got myself a 40D actually. Nice shots, I like the first one.

Thanks. 70-200 2.8 and the 17-40 4. 40D, 580EXII for a little fill in the rear shot.

That 70-200 is a great lense and not that heavy. I carry that thing on a gripped body with the 580 or 580II all day long. Carried a gripped 40D and 20D, zoom/wide lenses and a 580 on each for NAIAS '08; at the same time. That was starting to push the weight a little. Neck got a little sore.

No, just set it on there. Collectors item? There may have been 10 Ford/Roush people that got their hands on them!

Good choice of equipment, of course, I'm a little biased :o

:ponder:..................... :idea:ok looking for car wash quarter's... well maybe latter it's still snowing:mad::cry:

Probably, I work on Market St in the 48150.

I think i saw you today.

Nice car.

After the rain in Detroit early in the week with the car sitting for a few days, the drivers door latch froze and then got stuck unlatched...great fun with a manual trans and a driver's door that won't stay shut! The e-brake stuck on and the rear end was sliding all over the ice covered street too.

Ice could be from the water that froze. might have snowed before the pics taken?
