880 work in the fogs?

just about to order hids from vvme and all they have is 880 will that fit, or will i have to modify it?

As far as I know, only the 893s and 885s work, but I could be wrong.

from what i have been told when looking at hid fog kits all the 800 series are the same..... How true it is I'm not sure:shrug:

i emailed one of the guys whos name was like Lon dong or something crazy like that, and he said they have a 893 kit and i ordered it from him.

and vvme is the hid company that has been talked about recently on this forum $61.99 shipped for a single beam kit.

placing HID's for foglights. i have been told that the HID will burn the foglight. ( thats what the ppl at the shop told me)

I have a pair of 893's in my svt. Hyper yellow HID's. They burn hot, but not hot enough to burn the foglight. That is true tho, if you have the wrong wattage it could burn the lense.
