I've used compression fittings on them without any issues. It shouldn't need to flex at all. I'm assuming you have a full 3L swap or you would just get a new egr pipe from ford.

ya its a full 3l what exactly does this block off include do is there a cel when it is used any pics, or does anyone have a made egr pipe there willing to part with?

I'm in the middle of my swap and deleting mine. You can do the block off yourself if you have access to a few extra tools. This is how I did it on my Thunderbird a few years back with no issues to date. I just took the stock tube where it bolts to the rear manifold, cut it off an inch or two after the nut. Then pinched it closed and welded it. At the intake, I just took a piece of sheetmetal and cut it in the oval shape of the valve, then bolted it in place with the gasket thing as well. As yes you'll most likely get a CEL, so have them turn it off when you get it tuned.
