3L + MSDS Headers + Magnaflow Exhaust = LOUD

my cat was sleeping, and as soon as i started playing it she jumped...it was great. i like the sound of it actually, not as raspy as some other exhausts i've heard.

Get a cat/resonator, and mufflers please .

I have a 3L, MSDS headers, stock Y, magnaflow resonator, and magnaflow XL muffers and it sounds nothing like yours.....

Very raspy. Yucky. Add more mufflers please.

Were you joking? I didn't hear any rasp...

Here's some massive rasp for ya:

Yes that's my car, and yes it's raspy other then when it's toasty out in the summer. (The vid is from middle of winter)

I'm not sure where the raspy comments are coming from, if it's there it's slight. And as some have mentioned, certainly nowhere near some of the RASPY CSVTs that are out there. It is horrible for long trips. I actually forgot the faceplate for the CD player when I flew up to Detroit to pick it up - so all I had to listen to was exhaust drone.

The long term plan is to turn this car into a track car, so I actually don't mind how loud it is. Plus setting off car alarms in my garage at work is kind of fun...

how much did reebs put all that in for if you don't mind me asking?

i want 3L with headers but don't know anyone personally to do swaps :)

Boy I am so leaning to leaving my exhaust stock when I do my 3L....with the exception of headers.

Probably leaving power on the table. Might be worth it if it's a daily driver.

Shoot reebs a PM. I'm sure he wouldn't mind letting you know the costs involved. I'd rather him do that on his own terms though...

I had a stock 3l with just headers it had good power, but adding a full cat back and y added a lot more to it.
