With a few new additions to our lions.. Jahvid Best in the first round. They signed veteran receiver Nate Burleson and acquired tight end Tony Scheffler along with guard Rob Sims(notes) in trades to fill holes on offense.

i'm catching the lions bug. But we all know it's the same old routine with the added bull $hit that makes things seem perfect.

I have to say it's going to be a 4-12 final result.

6-8. Stafford having an up and down season. Some games good, some games WTF were you thinking?!?!?

you never know, they could come out of no where and be a good team! i know its been a while for them but, you just never know. haha i'm routing for the Eagles all the way. i always look forward to football season.

I am thinking they will make some strides this year but next year would be the one if they did anything to come out of no where. 3rd year for the QB....Calvin Johnson coming into his prime....D hopefully starting to come together....and maybe draft some quality olinemen this up coming draft. Right now it is the Vikings window to win. They will have this year and maybe next year before it starts to close. Green Bay, not so sure....could be really good or a huge let down. Chicago won't win this year...if that happens coaching staff is fired. If that happens then it will be 3 years after that before they are in contention again while they clean house. I think that might be the time for the Lions to do something. 2-3 years...maybe even make a run at the Division title if they get some more quality building blocks in the draft and get a key free agent or two (like the vikings did with winfield and allen and hutchenson).

I said 5-11 two months ago and I'm sticking with that... now if the reports are true that they may have to shut Delmas down for the season for surgery, then you can probably shave 2-3 wins off of that record. You could pull a guy off the street who could throw for 300 yards against that secondary without him back there.

This is just for the 2010 season, it doesn't go into the next year for the Lions, well, not since what.....

I'm going with (hear Killer's numbers in my head right now).....6-10 and that's being nice, trust me!

WOW!, this thread used to be blowin' up, man have things changed in the once all mighty EGL! Van Halen sings "where have all the good times gone"

Because most have moved on. Not only in here...but everywhere else on the forum.

Well what can i saw. I deserved that one.....another retarded call that destroyed such a great game! I'm really disgusted with the NFL. Time to stick with college football now and on.

I can't take back my prediction, but with Stafford out now for 2-6 weeks and the backup looking more like a talk show host than an actual NFL QB, I don't see how they can even reach that number now. I mean, is anyone out there floating around. I was lucky enough to call Ryan Armani today on my way back home to Chicago and the lines were blowing up for sure. First Galaragga with Joe West and the no-hitter and now this, Detroit has BOHICA once again!

Thoughts on this last game?

I think Shaun Hill did a decent job. Jahvid was great again. D-line was good. But i'm worried about our line backers and d backs. Hopefully Levy gets back in the line up soon. I dont know, it just seems like we give up a lot of big pass plays. or don't take advantage of potential interceptions.

Consolation vs the Vikings....at least they didn't look horrible. They have the parts for a year or two down the line to win. Funny thing about the Vikings....almost all the TD's scored against them this year have been short field's because of turnovers.

Good time for the bye week! Hopefully Stafford is back after this, we need him...well, I guess we need more disipline too...11 penalities:rolleyes:

I really think he'll be back. If he was dressed this week it means he could have gone in if he had to. But 59 penalties :nonono: i think of Schwartz as a hard nosed coach and i would have thought he would bring more discipline to the team.
