Reluctently selling my 1998.5 (E1) Contour SVT. It currently has just over 152k miles her. TOTALY UNMOLESTED. I am second owner, having purchased her from my Boss (VP) in Nov 2012. He bought her new in 1999, and has maintained her with love and passion. All oil and filter changes documented, at approximately 3k miles. All maintenance "by the book". He spared no dollars in care and upkeep. Kept inside until the last 9 months of my ownership.

Recent brakes, waterpump, struts, end links and poly bushings, new O2 Sensors, recent DEQ pass. Cable shifter end (white) replaced at transaxle (all less than 2k miles ago) . New tires - Dunlops w/less than 1k miles on them. Absence of door "dings", though slight scuff lower right front bumper. Interior mint. This is a Pacific Northwest vehicle. This means ZERO rust anywhere. No curb damge on any of the wheels. No known issues. I currently get a solid 32mpg on the highway at a steady 65mph with cruise on.

I have original window sticker and all factory documents as well as maintenance records.

I don't want to sell her, but I have too many "projects" and am "downsizing".
Looking for $3895 but open to serious offers.

Yes, very clean; thanks for the compliments. This is what happens when you have the means to 1) keep a vehicle garaged and 2) you are the sole driver who is an "older, mature" individual and 3) the $$$ to maintain her correctly. These are the very reasons that drove me to wanting her.

I told my Boss many years ago (12 +) "if you ever decided to sell her, let me have first crack at her, please". Well he remembered and did!!! I was fortunate to ride in her a number of times through the 12 years; always left me smiling and wishing to own her.

Just came back from a trip on I-5 from Portland area to Seattle and return. Averaged 32.5 mpg at 65mph w/cruise on. Current mileage is 155k miles

Your SVT is really a great car someone will be very happy with it. Again like with Shotwell's it is one I'd get if I had a place for it.

Thanks Aussie for the nice complement. Maybe my wife will change her mind and I can keep my SVT? She claims two 'Tours, a VW GTI and a Ford Ranger are too many vehicles......yes, she is correct ;-)

Nice local trip, 32.8 mpg at 65 mph on cruise on I-5. 156,108 miles. She attracted attention/questions at interstate rest area; Lotus owners club doing a caravan of 16 various Lotus models.

Well, she is sold as of tonight. I am sad but also glad as another CEG'r bought her and will take excellent care of her - Jbalch - Jerry is the perfect buyer for me. His knowledge, appreciation of love for the breed is comforting to me. She will be taken well care of; my girl is in very good hands!!!! I have visitation rights ;-)
CONGRATULATIONS JERRY!!!! Mondeoman down to one...his '95 Zetec 'Tour with Bats, 4 wheel disc and E0 wheels.
