Im liking the Ford idea, this looks like 1 piece of equipment that seems to be relatively "fairly" priced, from Ford, I mean. What about these 170 amp's and 200 amp's alt's are these any good? or just stick with Ford?
since the stock alternator outputs 130 amps that should be good ... I have not heard of many that need more then that ...
as for going with Ford, remains have a near 100% failure rate with in a year ... I even bought a 100% new unit and it didn't function correctly ... Ford is the way to go on this one if you want to only do it once ...
