I searched the old forums for heter core and other heater problems with no luck really except for a thermostat and i was just wondering if it is or not.
Problem:
i have a '98 csvt, and when i used to drive to school (12min drive) the car would be heated up after about 5min and be so hot i couldn't stand it. Now i had my car parked in a insulated garage that maintains about 32 degrees. This morning it was about 0 out and it seems like my car isn't warming up b/c usually i would start to feel heat when my oil psi got b/w 50 and 75psi. And my Water temp would go up to about the o or the r on normal. Now the water temp seems to be at the n or the o on normal and the heat isn't even hot when i get to school the heat is on high. (low - high all work on the HVAC panel.) Is this a sticking thermostat? I think it has a new one in but i'm not sure. FYI the waterpump was changed about 10k miles ago.
