The past couple of days, I've noticed when I activate/deactivate my alarm, the 2nd chirp sounds like it's dying. I thought nothing of it until today, when I started up my car and it almost died on me, granted its a little cold here in WI. I let it warm up for a few minutes, then I headed off to work. I drove for about 10 minutes then came to an interesction and waited to turn as cars were going by. After about 10 seconds of waiting, my car just died. I started it up and I could tell it was dying down again so I kept it around 3K as I pulled it into the parking lot. Then after i parked, it was running just fine, no boigging or anything, steady idle.

Old news. I noticed when going high rpms in 1st and 2nd, my battery light would come on around 5500 rpms and up. My lights would also dim a bit when the battery light was on.

I think it's fair to say these problems are related, but I wanna run it by you guys first to be sure. I think it is my alternator finally taking a crap. I'm open to suggestions everyone. Thanks for your time.

Most probably alternator. But test both the battery and alternator.

Drive home...I noticed a bogging or similar around 2k. Seemed to go away when i gave it a little gas and brought it to around 3k. Happened at one stop, and not the others...

Could this be part of the above problem? (I'm not too familiar with the charging systems)
