are the axles on both sides of the mtx75 pretty much the same length? cuz i ordered some stage ones and they are both the same length, ijust want to make sure i have the right ones before putting them in and finding out they wont fit

no, they should be different lengths. I have a pictures of my axles on my cardomain site, but their website just happens to be down. go figure.

Completely different sizes. The Trans is located on the drivers side of the car, so the drivers dies axle is about 2ft and the passinger side is 3ft+
 
get yourself an axel puller from Autozone....and yeah...the drivers side is shorter and the passenger side is like a foot longer...
 
alright, cardomain is back up.

heres my DSS stage 2 axles.

Looks like DSS wants you to reuse the factory intermediate shaft. When you pull the passenger side axle out, you will see that the OEM axle can be broken down into two seperate pieces. Reuse the inner shaft. You will be connecting it to the axle without the splines.
Someone let me know if I forgot to take my meds today...

No, I believe you are correct. I don't know why you can re-use theintermediate shaft but I spose. When i had mine out this past summer, I didn't even seperate the two...so I forgot about that.
 
It's a carrier type bearing where the axle separates held with a c-clip. I haven't heard of any of the carrier bearings going bad on the intermediate shaft but who knows. I would mush rather see DSS do this right and upgrade the intermediate shaft as well. Just my .02...
 
ok i think mine are good, theyre stage one but they lok the same as the pic of the 2's. splines on one someting else on the other.
