Dodge Charger

i am all for going around NY!
haha

pen..mass has had them for a while now, but you just dont see them that often.
and the mass slicktops are very hard to spot in front or behind you because of the dark blue paint.

You're only just getting them now? We've had Chargers and Magnums for quite some time here in Pennsyltucky.

Lee NH has had one for over a year now. The staties here have had them for about 6 months, but the Vic is still the majority. I just wonder how well they will hold up. Caprices, Intrepids, and Impalas have all sort of failed IMO. The Vic has been doing it for 2+ decades.

Are they using the new low profile light bar that resembles a luggage rack?

The LED light bars? Yup, the few Chargers I've seen have the LED light bars. BTW, they are super bright and vivid!! They almost look purple to me sometimes! When they are off the lenses are clear to, so they are a little inconspicuous.

i finally saw a charger cruiser the other day, i think i was in braintree, ma...totally took me by surprise, i dont know how i feel about the switch, my hometown is suppose to be making the switch to the charger as well...

The State Trooper Chargers here don't have any lights on the top. First time I've seen that. More stealth except for the bright arse blue paint scheme. Wish I had a pic.

i was driving aroudn in dc by the nsa and i went by a nice black h2 with tint and rims and everything, and as he was getting off the nsa exit it was all of a sudden alive with red and blue leds in about every window. apparently thats the new thing around DC. kinda crazy if you ask me. NY or something has a new mustang gt that looks really really nice. its made to get dumb kids to line up and drag with it, they get a good start and all of a sudden theres a mustang behind them with its lights on and cop inside writing youa ticekt.the thing looks gorgeous though

Isn't that some kind of entrapment or something.

it is only entrapment if the cop tries/initiates the illegal behavior.
if he just pulls up to a light next to the kid and does nothing but the kid still roasts the tires off the line then the cop can nab him.

i've seen a couple of NYPD marked (blue/white) chargers driving around. They're highway patrol only though.

There are black unmarked cruisers around too...but they have that stupid spotlight on the drivers side a pillar, which is very easy to spot.

haha, i was in down town lowell yesterday at a red light when a car oulls up next to me and rolls the window down.
it was a young dude and a chick.
i put my window down and they kinda argue back and forth who is gonna ask me..
finally the dude asks if i know where the school is (assuming Umass) but honestly i have no clue how to get there from where i am so i tell him i have no clue.
he gets this puzzled look on his face and stares at the spotlight probably thinking, "this cop has no clue?...WTF"
haha

If you pull up to a light with a shay car wouldn't you just look over and see what the guys wearing. If he's wearing dark blue and has a shiny little badge on his shirt, chances are he's not gonna like the fact that you might roast the tires off the line. I mean police cars can't have illegal tints can they?
