I tried doin my fog/parking lot mod and didnt work. so i just hooked my headlights back up. well im trying to fix fog/parking light mod and no headlights. i'm gettin frustrated. if one of you fellow CEG'ers that live near me would be kind enough to swing by and help me out i would greatly appreciate it! i live @ 15th ave and Wescott (19th ave and UnionHills) gimme a ring if you can help me out this evening/night (602) 423-8707 Ask for Justin. Thanks guys!!! :blackeye:

Update: Headlights still arn't working. checked all the 7.5 amp fuses. none were blown i still replaced them all. here's my ordeal. the wire harness looks as if its been spliced into before so they color codes didnt match up w/ the DIY instructions. i really need someone to help me out by coming by and letting me take a look at theirs... until then i guess i cant drive @ night

Hey.... are you going to be around that area during the day tomorrow? If so, maybe we could meet during my lunch break or something. I haven't done that mod.

I don't have AIM. but i'm home now and will be available to meet up any time. so if you want to get together and do your mod and try n fix mine PM me or call my cell # is in my first post

Yeah that would be great man. dont you work at AMEX ? thats litterally 1 minute from my g/f's house. where im staying tonight/tomorrow. so gimme a call if you could swing by i'd really appreciate it! 602-423-8707 lemme know!

Thanks for stoppin by today Morbid, i appreciate it. car looks really nice too... well im goin back downstairs to dinker w/ the car some more, still havn't got the headlights fixed!

No problem! I'm guessing that your headlight switch is either a Focus or Cougar item. If you're really interested (and if the part number is on it) Bill Jenkins should be able to find out what car it's supposed to be in. Sucks that the previous owner hacked up that wiring.

no, i got my volt meter out, found the constant hot, re-attatched it and the wire for the headlights/fogs, then went through and replaced any and all blown fuses.

now i need to shop for a good intake. im going to go with the larger MAF sensor/tube so i need a good replacement intake tube that leads to it. then a decent filter and maybe a heatsheild. its just that once you peice everything you want together your intake system can end up running around $500 :blackeye:

and once i get my tax return i'm getting Y pipes, and either a catback or mufflers. i want headers but the labor to install those is kind of detering me from that.

we need to schedual a meet for all us Arizona CEG members soon

You probably shouldn't get a different MAF unless you're also getting a tune for it. Besides... it won't make much of a difference unless you have all your intake & exhaust done, as well as a 3.0L (or even a turbo). I did notice my intake sounds a little louder with the bigger MAF, but I'll be putting the OEM back on as soon as I can get another silicon tube... or hold out for the turbo kit GB. With my GMS MAF calibrated for the car... it still registers more air than what is actually being used, so it's making me run slightly more rich. Only a custom tune (with the MAF transfers entered) would fix that.

Oh... and for the MAF adapter, I actually have one that I've been meaning to put up in the classifieds. It's the BAT/SP Motorsports one, and I've spent at least 3+ hours porting, polishing, and knifing it. Yes.. I'm that anal.
