We just moved last weekend (still have a little cleaning at the old place that we have to get done today), and our new neighbor has a Mini Cooper S.
So, of course, I had to read up on the new Cooper S that's out. No more S/C (
) but it does have a T/C. (
) It's a little bigger, little safer?, and seems like they've addressed a lot of the complaints from the previous model. It also gets great highway milage (EPA estimates).
I got to thinkin', "Hmmm, with a LSD, DSC, and snow tires, I'd feel safe drivin' that in the winter." But, my big question is this: Would it fulfill my desire for a fun car?
Anyone driven a Cooper S? Are they fun to drive? Heard anything good/bad about the new model? I think I wrote off the Cooper S because of possible reliability issues. Anyone know anything about these cars?
