Hey folks,

I am tired of dealing with the car, the wiring is so messed up it is not worth dealing with. (builders of the 3L spilced harnesses.....) I am hunting an svt with a solid body and interior that's got a dead motor somewhere in the southeast so keep an eye out for me!

thanks!

there are more than just the wiring issues, the interior is in poor shape, the car was wrecked and had the front clip replaced, and there are dents I'd rather not deal with. I'd rather have a tour with a solid body, know what I mean? I bought the car to pull the motor out of and put in a donor, (the motor runs extremely strong) but the guy I was going to buy the donor from sold it out from under me after we already worked out a deal and he had some of my dough! I was too impatient to find another donor and started fixing this one, now I am either going to find a donor and fix it or sell it for the motor and buy a Volvo S60 R, depending on how quickly my patience wears out.

I love the contour svt, I've had 3 and know them well enough to work on a little bit. I like the volvo too, but it's hard to let the tour go. I have seen a few 04 S60 R's around 20k, which is a large investment with a new baby here, but it is also kind of hard to fit the baby seat in the back seat of the tour!

Well, you don't HAVE to get a volvo. I saw a few G35 sedans on Ebay for under 15k. Even a 2004 or two for that price - one in Texas. I just rented one this past weekend, and I gotta tell ya, nice car.

I like the coupe, but a 2 door does me no good, and I want something that is awd and a stick. Not a whole lot of cars in that category, the Audi S6 and BMW M3/M5 are outta my price range and the evo and wrx are too flashy and non-family for me. I like the newer maxima's but they're mid 20's plus.

Just drive a G35 - even if it is an auto. That car should pacify you until you can get another manual shift into your stable.
