my mom picked up her new car today...finally traded in her '97 grand marquis for an '07 Fusion, thing is actually pretty nice, i havent driven it yet, just checked it out for a few minutes, its got the 2.3L, ill post some pics up tomorrow when i get some day light

It's sitting on black twenties. Personally I thought it looked good. But the black was not my cup of tea.

Thats awesome. Fusions are nice. I would love to do some work on one. They have so much potential, and did you here they beat out the camry and accord.

I've got a Milan with the 3.0 liter. The car has some serious bawlz! My only regret is maybe getting the 4 banger so I could drive a stick. I miss playing with my stick!

I've been looking for some sort of exterior mod that would distinguish it. Maybe someday I'll do some Milan Elky mesh... ha ha ha. Seriously, I HATE the front grill. I chose the Milan over the Fusion purely for some of the tasteful upgrades for about the same price.

Yup.....and all wheel drive....it's called the Mazdaspeed6. Basically the same car.

Wouldn't a speed3 be a better comparison to a turbo'd fusion since it's stll fwd?

I didn't mean for it to e sarcastic. The Mazda6 and Fusion share platforms so the weights would be closer. The Mazdaspeed3 is lighter and has less drivetrain to push around.

Actually since you can get a Fusion with AWD it is technically closer to a Mazdaspeed6. Only difference really is that they have two different engines. Speed6 has a 4cyl turbo engine, Fusion rocks the 3.0L 6cyl. But same chassis so I'm sure they can swap parts. Even though the Fusion can't be had in a manual of any sort:nonono: . For shame Ford, for shame!! Maybe we'll see an SVT version, but I doubt it.
