Well i have a 98' Mystique..i'm 19 years of age..and wanted to paint over the interior. Right now i have the 2 rear door panels and centre console painted in white. I want to get the dash and stuff like that done. I was wondering if there is a how-to or if anyone did or knows how to get the dash off and other products. Please post here or e-mail me at shorty2hotty30@hotmail.com
Thanks

why do i have to insert rivets when i'm re-installing the dash? what about the Airbag on the passenger side? That's what i'm mostly concerned about on the removal and installation...

probably because the dash isn't made to be taken off at a whim. Its secured to the car fully and in removing it you will have to do some things that aren't simply reversable. Rivets will secure the dash once more, when finished.

but ye what happens after i paint the dash? i have to drill holes for rivets now? that will ruin the whole point of painting the dash:S

The rivets are not on the outside... the dash-fix should outline the procedure enough to show that the rivets aren't seen.

Or just don't be a complete ricer and stop painting the inside of your car...my god, whats wrong with kids these days.

If the kid wants to paint his interior, then good for him. At least it will keep him busy and out of trouble for awhile! :) Thats the way that I look at it!

Seriously though, customize your car to what you want it to be. Your the one who has to drive it so make yourself happy!
