Pre-98 Pics

What up guys! I recently purchased a 97 duratec LX and I want to go mod crazy. I need some pics so that I can get some ideas. I am mainly concerned with the exterior. If anyone can post some pics of their pre-98's that would really help me out! Thanks in advance.

Good exterior mods are foglights with the CEG Foglight Mod, or install custom ones like PIAA's or Hella Optilux Fogs. Does your car have a stock spoiler? They're dirt cheap at the boneyard and look great. I've found mine is the only one at the meets without a center pillar- it might have come from another car, I have no idea.

SVT Bumpers are a direct bolt on, however the front bumper will not fit. Wheels from SVT's will fit our cars, as well as any wheels for the Focus [Someone correct me if I'm wrong]

Only a few have attempted customized headlights. Those who have done so created entirely new sets basically from scratch. You can swap SVT trunklids onto our cars too. Same goes for the SVT 'side skirts' [Or rocker panels to others] Tomato, Tomahto. heh

Feel free to add more to the list everyone, these are just off the top of my head!

You can go the route of modest kinds of things. Taking parts from the SVT and swapping them onto your tour'

My pre98 had SE skirts and SVT E1 wheels and a couple of other various small things, like custom mesh grille, Post97 Sail pannels in the back doors, Exhaust, debadged trunk lid, some cheap proburner fog lights.

I'm tring to keep it clean looking.It's in the shop soon getting a respray and se skirts. I also did the e1 wheels but i painted my factory front lip and got clear corners

Whoa. all those cars look great,but I was wondering how did the 2 guys w/the red tours make their custom bumpers???

The bumpers are from an SVT. You have to mold the front one on but the back is a simple bolt on with little modifcation.

One guy even molded a pontiac GTP front bumper on his pre-98. Looks sweet.
