that is on rt7. moosup is off 395. so opposite side of the state.

How about Holyoke, MA? Or Fall River? Perhaps New Bedford.

But for such a wealthy state (on average), Connecticut does have its share of dumps. I stayed at a Marriott in Waterbury a while back, and while the hotel was nice, there was nothing worth visiting in that burg.
