How to get fuse box down

do you take the drivers side fuse box down or do you pull something off? also, i cut a wire accidently while doing the fog like mod, its the orange/black stripe one that is going into something up by the light switch, but farther in towards the steering wheel, what does this wire do?

yeah i saw that just wasnt sure if thats what it was, also, can u use a fuse with a higher rating or just w/ a lower rating? the one that blew was a 7.5 and i have a spare 15. also, still gota nkow with that wire because it would be a major pita to solder it back together

Higher amperage fuses can melt wiring and damage the equipment it's connected to. Lower amperage fuses will probably just blow under load.

Stick with the fuse that is in there.
